The TIB Central Library stands as a cornerstone of academic excellence at Techno International Batanagar (TIB), fostering a culture of knowledge acquisition, research, and innovation.     • The TIB Central Library boasts a vast collection of textbooks, reference books, e-books, and magazines across various engineering disciplines, including Computer Science, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Electronics, and more.
    • With over thousands of titles, the library offers resources that cater to undergraduate, postgraduate, and research-level students, ensuring all academic needs are met.
  2. Research Journals & E-Resources
    • The library subscribes to leading national and international journals, research papers, and conference proceedings. It provides access to a wealth of information from renowned publishers and academic databases like IEEE Xplore, SpringerLink, ScienceDirect, and JSTOR.

  3. Online Digital Library (ODL)
    • In line with modern educational needs, the Online Digital Library (ODL) offers access to online journals, research papers, e-books, and databases on various subjects, available for students and staff to browse from anywhere, anytime.
    • The ODL portal is integrated with the college’s Learning Management System (LMS) for seamless access to academic materials.

  1. Individual & Group Study Areas
    • The library is designed to meet different learning preferences, with designated individual study cubicles for focused reading, along with spacious group study areas where students can collaborate on projects or discuss academic topics.
    • Quiet zones are maintained to ensure a peaceful environment conducive to deep learning and research.
  2. Discussion Rooms
    • The library also features discussion rooms equipped with multimedia facilities, allowing students to engage in group studies, presentations, and collaborative learning activities.
    • These rooms can be booked for project work, research, and team-based discussions.
  3. Digital Learning Stations
    • Digital learning stations equipped with high-speed internet, computers, and software tools are available for students to work on assignments, projects, and research activities.

  3. Reprographic Services

    • Reprographic services are provided at nominal charges, making it affordable for all students.

  5. Inter-Library Loan (ILL)
    • For resources that are not available within the TIB Central Library, the Inter-Library Loan (ILL) system facilitates borrowing materials from partner institutions and libraries, both nationally and internationally.
    • This service expands the library’s resource base and ensures students have access to any required research materials.

Library Timing & Access

  • Working Hours:
    • Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
    • Saturday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
    • Sunday: Closed (except during examination periods or special events)
  • Extended Hours:
    • During examination periods, the library may offer extended hours to provide students with more time for study and revision.
